How to Get Rid of Cellulite on Thighs

We're not fem-bots!’” Those were the sentiments of singer, Kelly Clarkson.  Until now, it is appalling how people still love to trash women’s cellulites. What’s worse is that women themselves hate their bodies for showing them.  That’s a sad fact, most especially when cellulites really affect over 90 per cent of women worldwide at varying degrees.

What causes cellulites anyway?  Here is what we know:

Listed below are the treatment option available for you when you feel you do need to go through a procedure to get rid of your cellulites:

Mesotherapy.  This involves a process of vigorous massaging through skin and injecting a fat softening chemical systemically around affected areas to melt the hardened fat trapped by tough skin fibers under your skin.

Radio frequency therapy, Endermologie and BodyFX.  These are procedures that use radio waves to soften trapped hardened fats so that these may be reincorporated into your bloodstream and eliminated through your bowels.  The last two procedures utilize a device that combines radio frequency with a sucking mechanism. The sucking snaps the fibers so that the fats may be released, and for the dimpling to be eliminated.

All three procedures are approved by  the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)- approved for cellulite treatment and are completely non-invasive. It may require several sessions before improvements can become noticeable.

Cellfina and Cellulaze.  These are minimally invasive procedures.  Cellfina uses a needle to snap the skin fibers and to deliver a chemical that loosens up the hardened fats trapped withinn  Cellulaze, on the other hand, utilizes a pen-like laser that cuts through the skin fibers and heats up the hardened fats to melt it.

Both procedures may take only one session to vanish cellulites, depending on the size of the area to be treated. In both procedures, the melted fats re-join your bloodstream and are eliminated via your bowels.  Both procedures have been approved by the FDA for cellulite removal. Both also have evidence suggesting that improvements gained through the procedure lasts for three years or more.

Laser Treatments.  These have been used to improve the appearance of cellulites for some time now. Trouble is, although the treatment is highly targeted, the results are highly variable. That means, the treatment does not always lead to improvements. Some patients do not notice any improvement at all.

Cellulite Creams. Topical cellulite and skin firming creams may be helpful in making your cellulites appear less noticeable for a limited period of time but, hardly will this make any permanent improvements to your cellulite-challenged thighs.

Workouts and weightlifting.  These will help make cellulites on your thighs appear less visible when you achieve a certain firmness in your thigh muscles, that is. Exercising more, however, is unlikely to go down to the root causes of your cellulites.

Self-tanning creams. If you want immediate improvements, this will give you instant results. It will not treat your cellulites but, by making your thighs appear darker and thicker, tanning creams also  camouflage your cellulites.
