- Line a baking sheet with the help of aluminum foil according to the size of your oven.
- Place your halved tomatoes (skin side down) on that baking sheet, add garlic cloves, sprinkle olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Preheat your oven at 190 degrees celsius and then place the baking sheet inside. Allowed them to rest for the next 25 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 20 degrees Celsius for the next 10 minutes. When you notice a brown texture, turn off the oven.
- Keep the door of the oven closed for the next 5 minutes and then open it.

- Italian tomato sauce (28 ounces)
- Italian diced tomatoes (28 ounces)
- Tomato paste (6 ounces)
- Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
- Chopped large onion (1)
- Merlot wine (¾ cup)
- Minced garlic cloves (3)
- Chicken bouillon granules (3 tablespoons)
- Dried basil leaves (3 tablespoons)
- Salt and pepper for taste

- Take a large saucepan and heat olive oil in it.
- Add onion and garlic in the oil and stare for the next five minutes until it turns translucent.
