Changes to Profile Privacy Settings took place Feb. 14, 2020. Emails were sent out Feb. 10, 2020 about the changes.
The Email Stated:
Hello,
We hope all is well. We are emailing you to let you know, about the upcoming changes to the Member's Profile Privacy Setting.
This network has a default setting where only members can view members profiles. If a visitor (non-member) clicks on your profile they would be directed to sign up and would need to become a member to view your profile page.
At this time we've decided that we want to open up the default setting where visitors can also view your profile. The good thing is that all the content you created such as blog posts, videos posts, photos and more will be seen by visitors and not just members.
Your profile page has all the content you created, shared, and posted all in one place. This is a plus for when we and others share your content to other platforms. People who are interested in more of your work will have the ability to do so without becoming a member meaning more exposure for you.
This change won't take place until Feb. 14, 2020 12:00 AM EST.
